Hello from the RSP Team!

We at RSP are taking this time to look back on the past year and all of the great projects we’ve had the pleasure of working on. 2019 was an amazing year for Red Summit, filled with creating new relationships and fostering existing ones. We wanted to take this opportunity to update all of our followers who make all of this excitement possible. Thank you for being a part of the RSP family, we can’t wait to see what the future brings!

Victorinox Swiss Army
We had the opportunity to work on our first major ad campaign with Victorinox Swiss Army this year. We first connected with VSA in 2018 for a special video series for Veterans’ Day. They reached out again this year with an idea to make three ad spots to run on Hulu throughout the holiday season to grow their US brand recognition. We produced three videos showcasing not only the famous Swiss Army Knives, but also their travel gear, kitchen cutlery, watches, wallets, and purses. Set against the stunning backdrop of the beautiful and natural Webb Mountain Park in Monroe, CT, as well as right here in the hustle and bustle of Brooklyn, you can see all three ads now on our website, and on Hulu!

The Macallan
This Summer, we travelled across the pond to Speyside, Scotland to film for The Macallan. Their latest expression The Macallan Edition №5 was branded in partnership with The Pantone Color Institute, accompanying their newly developed shade, The Macallan Edition Purple. We filmed at The Macallan’s beautiful distillery in Scotland and at Pantone in New Jersey. The result of the unique partnership was the creation of a completely brand new color inspired by The Macallan Whisky, The Macallan Edition Purple.

Frosted Flakes: Mission Tiger
In the fall, RSP teamed up with Weber Shandwick and Mission Tiger, a philanthropic project by Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes. Our crew followed Tony the Tiger and a host of special pro-athlete guests across the country to visit schools with underfunded sports programs and offer a generous donation. We travelled to Camden, NJ; Baltimore, MD; and El Paso, TX to capture students being surprised by the likes of Ben Simmons, Ed Reed, and LaDainian Tomlinson. The result was inspiring pieces like this one, that showcase all Kellogg’s does to give back to the community. You can see all three pieces on our website now!

Walmart — Grocery Pickup Trivia
In our debut partnership with Walmart, we finished out the summer by filming the latest season of Grocery Pickup Trivia. In this exciting web series, families are put to the test to see how many trivia questions they can answer correctly before their groceries are done being loaded into their trunk. These episodes also featured a few special surprise guests, the cast of Nick Jr.’s Paw Patrol! We filmed this on sunny August day at Walmart in North Bergen, New Jersey. See the first episode above, and visit our website or Walmart’s Facebook page to see all five!

PayPal
In 2019, we also fostered a new relationship with PayPal, covering events like Fireside Chats, WorldPride, and Giving Tuesday. We always enjoy getting to see first hand how PayPal lives its values of collaboration, innovation, wellness, and inclusion. A great example of this is when we got to spotlight the PayPal GIVE Program, focusing on PayPal employees who dedicate their time to giving back and displaying how PayPal creates an environment that encourages them.

American Heart Association
After years of working with the American Heart Association in New York, we collaborated over the course of 2019 on a major project to highlight all of the amazing work they do throughout the five boroughs. By repurposing footage from events we’ve covered for them over the years, as well as capturing six more events over the course of 2019, we created this impact market video. We were overjoyed that we were able to showcase all of the incredible work the organization does in New York City to promote heart health, wellness, and healthy food access for all!

The Mount Sinai Health System
This year, we were also happy to continue growing our relationship with The Mount Sinai Health System, working on a number of videos from staff profiles to event coverage. One of our most recent and proudest projects was a series promoting the new Master’s of Healthcare Administration program at the Icahn School of Medicine, in which we sat down with five administrators and discussed what they hope to share with the next generation of industry leaders!

Walmart — Star Wars Unboxing
In our second collaboration with Walmart, we travelled all the way to Rancho Obi Wan in Petaluma, CA. Rancho Obi Wan is the largest privately owned collection of Star Wars memorabilia, so it made the perfect backdrop for Walmart to highlight some of it’s new Star Wars products in their latest unboxing series! We spent the day with The Star Wars Show host Matt Lieb and the owner of Rancho Obi Wan, Steve Sansweet, as they revealed some of the most exciting new products from Walmart’s new Star Wars collection. Episodes run on Facebook and as a segment on The Star Wars Show on YouTube.

Thank you again for being such an integral part of the family. We hope to have yet another great year, and that you will be a part of it! Hope you and your families are all staying safe and healthy.
